The representative of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasmin Imamović, says that Milorad Dodik, in an interview for American television, once again showed himself to be a brutal revisionist and a liar.
“In an interview tinged with hatred towards Bosniaks, he advocates the secession of the RS, as part of the sovereign and integral state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I remind you that with similar rhetoric, Hitler achieved the secession of the Sudetenland as a part of Czechoslovakia, annulled the principle of inviolability of borders and caused a world war,” Imamović points out in a press release.
He adds that Dodik accuses Bosniaks of being with Hitler in the Second World War, and Hitler and his allies conquered almost all of Europe by the end of 1941, except for the United Kingdom, the USSR and Bosnia and Herzegovina, where anti-fascists and partisans, throughout the war, controlled free territories, the size of present-day Montenegro, and even larger.
“One of the reasons for the massive support of Bosniaks to Tito, Avda Huma, Rodoljub Čolaković, Hasan Brkić, Ivo and Jurica Ribar and other partisans was the fact that they promised that BiH would be a federal unit in the federation of Yugoslavia, as a community of voluntarily united republics, and that they rejected the Cvetković – Macek Agreement from 1939, which provided for the division of BiH between Serbia and Croatia,” says Imamović
He added that Milorad Dodik persists in his hatred of Bosniaks and that his denial of genocide and the demonization of Bosnian Muslims cannot be understood by Bosniaks other than as a threat of a new genocide.
Imamović invites the American public to inform themselves about the history of BiH in the books of American experts: John Fine & Robert Donia ‘Bosnia and Herzegovina, the tradition they betrayed’, Robert Donia: ‘Biography of Sarajevo, Branimir Anzulović: ‘The myth of heavenly Serbia: The starting point of wars of conquest and crimes in the 20th century’, as well as the English historian Mark Attila Hoare: ‘Bosnian Muslims in the Second World War,'” adds Imamović.
He emphasizes that the United States of America is a great friend of all citizens and peoples of BiH and the strongest country in the world.
“Knowledge is also a factor of this strength, so it is clear that the American and all other relevant experts know that Milorad Dodik, a Russian player and yesterday hater of the USA, manipulates and lies,” concluded Imamović.
