MMF_4468_0_0_468X10000The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today may approve a new tranche of 48 million euros for B&H.

According to the website of IMF, the meeting of IMF Executive Committee will be held today and the grant for B&H will be discussed.

IMF Resident Representative in B&H Ruben Atoyan announced for Reuters earlier that the IMF will grant the tranche for B&H, because all the requirements are fulfilled.

Atoyan stated that this tranche will be approved, which is part of the package of 385 million euros of the stand-by arrangement, agreed in September 2012.

“Considering the results of the current stand-by arrangement, the IMF will be pleased to consider the request during the visit of the Mission“,  stated Atoyan, adding that the decision will depend on the strength of the economic policy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
