MMF-Vasington(3)Resident Representative of the IMF in B&H Ruben Atoyan announced that IMF Mission, led by Ron van Rooden will visit B&H from 21 -30 May, to discuss the sixth and seventh review of the Stand -by arrangement (SBA), announced Anadoli Agency. The IMF Executive Director on 26 September approved the request of B&H in terms of a two year SBA.

“The fifth review was concluded on 31 January, when was also approved a 9 month extension of the program, until June 2015 and an increase of the available resources to 473,48 SDR (280 percent of quota). So far, 253,65 million SDR ( about 285 million euro) are allocated within the program. 84,55 million SDR (about 95 million euro) will be available for B&H upon the completion of the sixth and seventh review”, announced Atoyan.

IMF by the end of April delayed the payment of the SBA tranche for B&H because the B&H Parliamentary Assembly did not adopt the amendments to the law on B&H excise relating to the harmonization of excise duty rates on various tobacco products.
