Implementation of Electronic Prescriptions in pharmacies PI ‘’Apoteke Sarajevo’’ have started

Apoteka2Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton informs citizens who are insured by the Health Insurance of Sarajevo Canton that the implementation of electronic prescriptions to pharmacies that operate within the  PI “Apoteke Sarajevo” have started.

This service is provided as part of a pilot project called “Electronic prescription”, which is being implemented in the health system of the Sarajevo Canton as part of the strategic on-line information system, said the Press Service of the Government of SC.

‘’ Including PI ‘Apoteke Sarajevo’ in project ‘Electronic prescription’, Ministry of Health of CS, headed by Minister Emira Tanović-Mikulec, resolved the months-long problem of non-functioning electronic prescriptions in the business units of this public institution. Electronic recipes have thus become accessible to citizens as well as in other private pharmacies and private health institutions “, as informed from this Ministry.

They also pointed out that this activity is successfully realized through the intervention of the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton.
