LIVING-TOGETHERThe Association of B&H Journalists and Independent Society of Journalists Vojvodina started the implementation of the project “Živjeti zajedno” (Living Together), which consists of the production of 5 documentary films and 10 research journalistic papers on civic courage and positive stories from the last war in the area of former Yugoslavia.

“Among all the negative examples of violence, war crimes, genocide, individuals are completely forgotten, organizations and initiatives that have concretely helped those “from the other side”. Those who tried to resist the “bad guys” had to suffer numerous negative consequences, but despite that they did not give up”, was announced from the Association of B&H Journalists.

“Considering the case of Srđan Aleksić, who ten years after the war earned the right to be a hero. Our goal is to speak out about similar positive experiences in a war environment. The case of Srđan Aleksić and similar examples are strong symbols that can contribute to a better understanding and reconciliation in the region. Promotion of these examples is not intended to hide the facts, but to affirm positive events, humanity and courage in the most difficult moments”, said the statement.

The project will be implemented by the support of the EU Media Fond.
