“So far, in the framework for applying for visas under Article 26, paragraph 2 of the Employment Regulations (the so-called Western Balkans Rule), it was recommended that approval from the Federal Agency for Labor be obtained,” it says on the website of the German Embassy.
This procedure was suspended on November 1, 2017!
As of November 1, the Visa Department will regularly include the Agency for Work while processing the visa application. Pre-approvals issued by November 1 will continue to apply, reports Buka.
We also recall that as earlier numerous portals in BiH published news that from January 1, 2018 the new employment law may be introduced, which will equalize the EU and BiH citizens in the process of employment. This news is not true!
“Information that a new law should be introduced as of January 1, 2018 allowing citizens of non-EU countries to be employed in EU countries under the same conditions as EU citizens are incorrect,” the German embassy in Sarajevo announced.
“Please be informed on the website of the German Embassy about the conditions and the estimated waiting period for issuing work visas,” the German Embassy said.
