3747_PoslovanjeThe Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda and the Minister of Economic Development and Technology of Slovenia Stanko Stepišnik met in Budva during the regional summit “100 Business Leaders of the Region-Agreement for a New Era”.

They spoke of the foreign trade between BiH and Slovenia and the modalities to improve economic cooperation. Chairman Bevanda said that the current imbalance in foreign trade at the expense of BiH should be an added motive for BiH business people to present our potential in Slovenia, as well as for joint projects that could be competitive in third markets.

“Slovenia is one of the most important trade partners of BIH, and is also a part of the EU market”, said Chairman Bevanda and added that the enhancement of economic cooperation in the region would bring prosperity to all people and citizens who live in this region.

Chairman Bevanda informed Minister Stepišnik on the activities that the BiH Council of Ministers is implementing in the process of EU integration and said that the help of Slovenia and its institutions involved in this process is welcome.
