Improving Economic Development of Una-Sana Canton

rukovanje_aIn order to improve the overall business cooperation and strengthen economic development in the Una-Sana Canton (USK), yesterday an agreement on cooperation was signed at the USK Chamber of Commerce between these institutions and the Development Agency of the Una-Sana Canton.

Activities will be directed primarily to: development of partnership relations, making of development projects and documents, joint realization of development projects, improving regional development, as well as promotion of regional development, as well as encouraging and promoting economic development of the Canton. They will work on the promotion of the USK as an attractive area for investors, promotion at local and foreign fairs, improving the business environment, affirmation of local production, and cooperation in adopting laws and other regulations to improve the economy.

The goal is to establish new business ties between business actors and their common interests in the use of complementary production resources, cooperation in the area of environmental protection, development of fair activities, support to project “Ekobis”. The development of organic production is also among the priorities, as well as the education of entrepreneurs, applying to projects for the EU and other funds, joint actions in the process of getting closer to the EU, adopting EU standards and improving the quality of business.

The Director of the USK Chamber of Commerce Ismet Pašačić and Haris Komić, the Director of the USK Development Agency signed the agreement.
