In Banja Luka today: The President of the Slovak Republic will meet with Milorad Dodik and open the exhibition of Safvet-beg Bašagić’s manuscripts

Today in Banja Luka, within the official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the President of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Gašparović will talk with the President of Republika Srpska.

On the second day of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gašparović together with the Slovak delegation of businessmen and the Presiding of the Presidency of B&H Nebojša Radmanović will visit the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.

On the same day, President Gašparović will officially open the exhibition of Safvet-beg Bašagić’s manuscripts at the National University Library of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka, under the title ” Heart in hands”. The exhibition is a gift of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Safvet-beg Bašagić’s collection of Islamic manuscripts and old books, which is in the property of the Bratislava University Library, is also a part of the UNESCO program called ” Memory of the World Program”.
