In FBiH, the average Net Salary is 1,262 BAM

The average monthly paid net salary per employee for June 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 1,262 BAM and is nominally lower by 1.2 percent, and in real terms by 0.7 percent, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average paid net salary for June 2023 is nominally higher by 13.2 percent, and in real terms by 9.4 percent.

The analysis of data by KDBiH activities in April 2010 compared to March 2023 shows that the largest decrease in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in Health and social protection activities by 4.8 percent, Production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 3.9 percent and
Agriculture, forestry and fishing by 3.5 percent.

At the same time, the largest increase in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in the Transportation and storage industry by 1.7 percent, and Other service industries by 1.1 percent.

The average monthly paid gross salary per employee for June 2023 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 1,963 BAM and is nominally lower by 1.2 percent and in real terms by 0.7 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary of employees for June 2023 is nominally higher by 13.9 percent, and in real terms by 10.1 percent, data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics show.

In June 2023, the total number of employees in the Federation of BiH is 543,369. Compared to the previous month, the number of employees increased by 0.3 percent.
