The solemn academy “Time for Europe” to mark the Days of Europe will be held today at the cultural center in Prnjavor with the organization of the European Movement in BiH.
This year, the project “Day of Europe in BiH”, is being realized by the European Movement under the patronage of the BiH Presidency-office of the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović in partnership with Prnjavor municipality and the music group “Regina” from 4-11 May.
During the solemn academy, symbolically called “Time for Europe”, the European Movement will present recognition to people and organizations that have made an important contribution to the process of EU integration in BiH, developing regional cooperation and partnership, or improving social relations in our country, region and improving the international reputation and image of BiH.
The motto of this year’s marking of the Day of Europe in BiH is multiculturality, tolerance, understanding and the participation of women in social trends.
Representatives of 18 embassies and international institutions in BiH have announced their arrival to Prnjavor, and the audience will include, in addition to organizers and hosts of the manifestation and delegate Nebojša Radmanovi, an introductory greeting by Peter Sorensen, the Special Representative and Ambassador of the EU to BiH.
In addition to the Diplomatic Corps and international representatives, the arrival and participation to this event has been confirmed by: Mayors of Zagreb Milan Bandić and Subotica Modest Dulić, Ambassador of BiH to the EU in Brussels Igor Davidović, Ministers from the BiH Council of Ministers Mirko Šarović and Fahrudin Radončić, Presidnet of the RS National Assembly Igor Radojičić, delegates in the PSBiH Aleksandra Pandurević, Borjana Krišto, Drago Kalabić, Minister in the RS government Nada Tešanović, Journalist at TV NOVA Mislav Bago, whose team will follow the manifestation, and mayors from 20 local communities in BiH and a number of other business and social workers in BiH and the region.
