13183012_1177307545653533_175742307_nPrime Minister of the FBiH Fadil Novalić and Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Labor and Social Policy of FBiH Vesko Drljača hosted yesterday at the headquarters of the FBiH Government in Sarajevo the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the adviser to the royal court Ahmed bin Aqil Al-Khatib.

It was discussed about ways to raise the already good cooperation between BiH and Saudi Arabia to a higher level. Participants of the meeting agreed that there is mutual desire and opportunities for one such improvement.

In this regard, the guests were informed about the most important developmental projects implemented by the FBiH Government, primarily in the fields of road infrastructure, energy, agriculture and tourism.

Al-Khatib emphasized the desire of his country to establish and define a five-year developmental program with BiH. The plan would include the local infrastructure facilities such as roads, hospitals and schools, as well as investment in agriculture, industry, and other branches of economy.

“We hope that until 2020 we will be able to day that relations between our countries are at a mutually desired level,” said the head of Saudi Arabian delegation.

Prime Minister Novalić expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Saudi intentions are compatible with the BiH developmental plans and needs. He especially pointed to the interest in the development of road infrastructure.

When it comes to agriculture, BiH has an abundance of opportunities for production of clean and healthy food. However, the Prime Minister said that BiH needs investors who are able to close the entire production cycle, including the placement and export of agricultural products.

“BiH has great potentials for development of tourism, too, and in this field as well we need investors with great international managerial experience,” Novalić said.

Cooperation in the field of military industry was also discussed.
