The real GDP growth by expenditure approach in the first quarter of this year, compare to the same quarter of the previous year amounted 2,0%.
According to seasonally adjusted data, GDP increased by 0,1 % in the first quarter of 2020, as compared to the previous quarter, according to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Agency for Statistics.
Observed by category of GDP by expenditure approach, in the first quarter of 2020 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, real growth was recorded in categories: household final consumption expenditure 2,0% and general government consumption expenditure 0,9%, while real decrease have been recorded in following categories, Gross capital formation -2,7%, Export of goods and services -1,8% and Import of goods and services -2,9%.
The real GDP growth in the first quarter of 2020, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, amounted 2,0 %. According to seasonally adjusted data, GDP increased by 0,3% in the first quarter of 2020, as compared to the previous quarter.
Observed by activities, in the first quarter of 2020 compared to the same quarter of the previous year, real growth of the gross value added was recorded in:
Information and communication 8,4% and other service activities 7,8 %.
The real fall of the gross value added was recorded in manufacturing 5,8% and Construction 2,8%.
