Increase in Number of Coronavirus Positive Persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Eight newly infected persons were registered after testing 327 samples at Clinical Centre University Sarajevo, it was confirmed for Klix.ba.

Six people tested positive for coronavirus in Sarajevo Canton, and one each from Tešanj and Kiseljak.

Seven more people are positive for COVID-19, but it is a retest and they are not among the newly infected.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, 167 laboratory samples have been tested in the last 24 hours, and the coronavirus has been confirmed in 12 people.

These are seven men and five women, two of whom are younger, five middle-aged and five older.

According to the place of residence, five people are from Bosanska Kostajnica, three from Zvornik, one each from Kotor Varoš, Prijedor, Oštra Luka and Bratunac.

So far, 1,692 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 119 people have died who have been tested for coronavirus.

Currently, there is a total of 3,051 person infected in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2,141 recovered and 161 dead.
