Increased Exports of Brand “Natura” by 100 %!

12516330_1744792512424092_199140462_nBiH brand “Natura” recorded an increase of the production as well as export to the EU market for 100 % in the previous season. With this increase, “Natura” has strengthened its leadership position in exports of domestic products in the segment of canned fruit and vegetables, as announced from this company.

With the increase of the production, “Natura” also increased purchase of raw materials from local farmers. Cultivation and purchase of cucumbers from about 1500 subcontractors from BiH was particularly noted. Growing and purchase is done through the “USAID Partnership for the development of agribusiness,” where the company “Natura food” is the partner, while the biggest investor in this project is a company from the diaspora “Brajlovic” GmbH Austria, which is a member of the Adriatic Group.

“Natura” has over 40 products in its product range, including salads, chutney and marmalades. Fresh raw materials that are purchased from domestic farmers are processed within 48 hours in the two BiH factories “Natura food” and “Vocar-promet”, and placed on the market of BiH through local retail chains.

Besides the local market, “Natura” is exported to 14 countries of the EU. “Natura” products are sold in large retail chains and ethno markets of the Benelux countries, Great Britain, Ireland, as well as the Germanic and Scandinavian markets.

“Natura food” and “Vocar-promet” are members of the Adriatic Group in Vienna, which constantly invests in BiH economy. In 2016, additional investments were started and support for domestic agricultural production, especially when it comes to increase of the cultivation of cucumbers, and the cultivation of different varieties of peppers, intended for their own processing capacities.
