Increasingly filling the Budget of FB&H: Number of Tourists in June increased by 24 percent

tourists3In June 2015, the FB&H was visited by more than 75.000 tourists, which is approximately 24 percent more compared to June 2014.

According to the data of the Federal Institute for Statistics, the participation of domestic tourists is 22.5 percent, while the rest belongs to the foreign tourists.

Also increased is the number of tourists that have stayed for more than one day in the Federation, i.e. those who have stayed overnight, and such were more than 148.000, which is by 24.3 percent more in comparison with June last year. In the FB&H, the tourists liked hotels the most, so if they opt for staying overnight, they prefer staying at the hotels. As much as 93.4 percent of tourists used hotel accommodation.

In the structure of overnight stays of the foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were realized by the tourists from Italy (14.4%), Turkey (8.6%), Croatia (8.2%), Slovenia (7.7%), and Poland (7.0%), which is 45.9 percent in total. Tourists from other countries have realized 54.1 percent of overnight stays.
