India has reportedly launched strikes on three major air bases in Pakistan, according to India Today, citing unnamed sources. The overnight attacks caused significant damage to Pakistani military infrastructure and installations. These actions were in retaliation to Pakistan’s drone strikes and artillery shelling across 26 locations along the Line of Control and the international border.

The Indian army stated that Pakistan is reinforcing troop deployments along the border, suggesting an escalation in hostilities. An unnamed army official reported visible movements of Pakistani forces, indicating possible offensive preparations.

Simultaneously, three individuals, including a senior Indian official, were injured in Pakistani attacks targeting the Jammu and Kashmir region, as reported by PTI citing anonymous sources. Earlier, Geo News reported that Pakistan had launched extensive military operations against India.

In response, the Indian military targeted Pakistani radar and technical facilities. As a precaution, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah urged residents in and around Jammu city to remain indoors, emphasizing safety amid rising tensions. Prior to these developments, India had confirmed the interception and destruction of several drones launched from Pakistan.
