A prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment against Emin Behrović, born in 1984 in Tutin, a citizen of the Republic of Serbia.

The Accused is charged that, upon arriving at the Sarajevo Airport border crossing point on a flight from Istanbul, he passed passport and customs control and gave a police officer of the BiH Border Police the amount equivalent to about BAM 150 in order to facilitate and speed up passport and other controls for his acquaintance B.E., a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, who was held in the official premises for passport control where checks were made regarding the circumstances of his arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The accused is charged with handing over a gift to an official in the institutions of BiH in order for the latter to perform within his duty, for another person, something he should or should not do, whereby the accused committed the criminal offence of Giving Gifts and Other Benefits under Article 218 (2) of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH.
