Indictment issued against One Person for Smuggling of Persons

A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against Sanel Sahbazovic, born in 1997 in Bihac, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This accused person is charged with making contact with illegal migrants, citizens of Pakistan and India who did not meet the conditions for legal entry and stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the area of Bihać, in order to acquire unlawful material gain. 

The Indictment alleges that the accused drove illegal migrants towards the area of ​​Kostajnica, with the intention of illegally crossing the water border to the territory of the Republic of Croatia and further to EU countries.

The accused was detected while attempting to commit the said criminal offence and he was prevented from doing so by the police officers of Police Station in Kostajnica.

The aforementioned accused is charged with the commission of the criminal offence of Smuggling of Persons, referred to in Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
