luxurious jeweleryToday, the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH (ITA BiH) will put the application in test phase, and it will try to solve the problem of clearance of postal items from abroad.

The need to engage forwarders when buying goods over the Internet forced ITA BiH to take certain steps such as a software upgrade, using which the posts could also engage in forwarding services at much lower prices or even for free.

From UIOBiH have said that the application server is completed, as well as amendments to the legislation that accompanies it.

“The test phase is also ready and on Thursday, March 9th will be officially put into operation,” announced UIOBIH.

After a great number of complaints from citizens who buy from online services, and whose goods worth exceeds 50 BAM, went through a special procedure in forward service, and the ITA BiH has decided to develop this application in order to facilitate control of ordering and purchasing.

For goods to be in a group of non-commercial goods its value must not exceed 1500 BAM.

The new system should allow for more effective control and verification, so that all those who are illegally engaged in commercial activity of advertising and selling  will be thoroughly controlled.
