The first prototype of vacuum presses was made ten years ago and was mainly used in the wood industry. Today, in the workshop of Zvjezdan Vist, the innovator from Doboj, vacuum membrane presses, used by the world’s car and flights company’s are made.
About two hundred presses are sold, and one machine recently went to Singapore in the local company “Techzink International co.ltd”. The machine is intended for the production of aluminum panels which are used for facades of buildings.
“The company from Singapore is interested in four or five more machines as well as for expansion of cooperation on the territory of Asia. We won all the continents except Africa and Australia”, Said Vist, who hosted a delegation from Singapore.
Vist is a civil engineer by profession. His machines are used for coating, bending and laminating wood and other materials. He was surprised by applying of his products in the aerospace industry and he sees it as his greatest reference.
“We made a machine for India, for the state institution that deals with research of the universe, so that these machines have found application in many areas for which we did not know that they can be used in” said Vist.
Due to their specific solutions, Vist’s products were patented in Europe and the US. The machines can be found in the production halls of the Italian Lamborghini, in Portugal, in Northern Ireland and in Peru.
