Socializing Students with Developmental Disabilities gorazdeonline.baStudents with developmental disabilities from several BH cities gathered in Gorazde, together with their teachers and peers who are regularly attending the classes in primary schools, and the day was filled with entertaining and sports activities, workshops, and competitions.

Inter-entity socializing of students is a part of the project which is being realized by the Association “Pomoć djeci Balkana” (“Help to the Children of the Balkans”), based on the platform “Dijalog za budućnost” (“Dialogue for the Future”) which was signed by the Presidency of B&H and the United Nations, and which includes the promotion of coexistence and diversity in B&H.

“Such projects can occur anywhere in the world, because their aim is reconciliation, coexistence and tolerance, and the respect for diversity and all other segments are useful for the children”, said Husein Halilovic, the President of the Association “Pomoć djeci Balkana”.

With entertaining and sports activities, workshops and competitions in artworks and literary works, 80 students with developmental disabilities from Sarajevo, Rudo, Visegrad, Sokolac, Foca, and Gorazde, and 50 of their peers who regularly attend the classes in primary schools were socializing today.
