Nađa Milišić, Adis Mulaosmanović and Edina Džigal were handed over today to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office. They will be detained for 24 hours and within that legal period the acting prosecutor will decide on further measures against the suspects.

Among those arrested is Ibro Berilo, the mayor of Trnovo, who is currently in the Clinical Centre Centre University Sarajevo (KCUS), where he was placed a few days ago due to his health condition, and who will later be handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office.

Ibro Berilo (Trnovo Municipality Mayor), Nađa Milišić, Nermin Demirović (former director of Sarajevo Forestry), Adis Mulaosmanović (Lok-pil d.o.o.) and Edina Džigal were arrested on Monday in the operation codenamed “Incitat”. They are charged with conspiring to commit criminal acts, namely abuse of position or authority and money laundering. It is a case of systemic corruption in the construction sector and money laundering.

Action “Incite” by SIPA members was carried out by order and under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the CS Prosecutor’s Office, in cooperation with members of the KS MUP, OSA BiH and the CS Anti-Corruption Office.
