Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak spoke after the call for the Federal Ministry of the Interior to prosecute persons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the events of January 9.

“All police administrations in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina professionally and responsibly undertake measures and actions within their jurisdiction in order to maintain a high level of general security in the entity. Flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity RS is not the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is not the flag of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it is not a religious flag either, and as such it has no place in places of worship. Displaying the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina. of the RS entity at the Orthodox places of worship in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on a day that is remembered as the day of the start of the genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina, represents nothing but a provocation,” stated in the reaction of Minister Isak.

The removal of the flag in Konjic, as it is added, has nothing to do with the constitutionally guaranteed religious freedom and the constitutionality of Bosnian Serbs in the Federation of BiH entity, but exclusively with attempts to provoke.

“And we will never accept provocations as normal and accordingly the flag of BiH. of the RS entity will never be used on facilities in the entity of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” emphasizes Isak.

At the same time, he considers shameful the behavior of the holders of executive functions and religious leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina entity of the RS who protested in front of the police administration in Srebrenica after the arrest of persons who spread inter-ethnic hatred and intimidated returnees.

“I condemn any attacks or attempts to intimidate returnees in both Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity and I will ask all the cantonal ministries of internal affairs to prevent such behavior, that is, to prosecute the responsible persons if there was a violation of the law. However, persons who have a registered place of residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity of the RS and who are calling me to react, without any attempt to give a diplomatic answer, I want to say the following: Do not provoke. Your provocations did not go down well in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina is an internationally recognized and indivisible state and will remain so,” stated in the reaction of Minister Isak, FMUP announced.
