The International Court of Justice in The Hague sent Another Letter to Members of the Presidency of BiH?

ICJ HaagThe Embassy of BiH in the Netherlands received a new letter from the International Court of Justice for members of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, Mladen Ivanic and Dragan Covic.

According to Vecernji list, it is a confirmation of the Court that this institution received answers from the Office of the Presidency of BiH that were sent after the letter that the International Court of Justice sent to Sarajevo last week.

In that letter, the Court requested clarification on the status of the agent in the process of revision of the lawsuit of BiH against Serbia, Sakib Softic. The reason for explanation is that private letters of the Chairman of the Presidency of Mladen Ivanic and Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Crnadak created confusion, which were sent to the Court on the 13th of July 2016 and the 3rd of February 2017, in which they tried to challenge the legitimacy of agent Softic.

After the consultations, members of the Presidency of BiH agreed that each member of the Presidency of BiH will individually submit his view to the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

To recall, information that “someone” opened the letter of Mladen Ivanic before it was officially handed over to the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH provoked a lot of reactions.
