From 4 to 15 February ,in Sarajevo, BiH Ministry of Defence under the auspices of the United States Joint Forces Command (USJSCOM) will be conducting International Logistics Exercise 2013 – The partnership goals program (LOGEX 13PGP).
Exercise LOGEX 13 is organized as an integral part of the logistics educational program LOGEX that is continuously being performed under the sponsorship and supervision of the USJSCOM and United Stated European Command (USEUCOM) , NATO- school “Oberammergau”, NATO Transformation Command in Norfolk and the Czech Armed Forces , Denmark, Finland, Great Britain and Croatia.
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Sweden will participate in this exercise, and Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine will be observer states.
This is a very important program for BiH and its armed forces in the context of the adoption of NATO standards and procedures, and achieving the desired level of interoperability.
Exercise will further contribute to strengthening the cooperation between the countries in the region that will be engaged in the field of logistics support operations of multinational forces.
LOGEX program is designed according to NATO standards and procedures in order to assist member countries of “Partnership for Peace” and NATO in achieving and implementing their partnership goals, including various aspects of logistical support to units in peacekeeping missions under the auspices of NATO.
