International Fair of University of Sarajevo

sajam_univerzitetaThe public institution ‘Employment Service of Canton Sarajevo’ will take part at the first international fair of universities, faculties and higher education schools that will be held on 25 and 26 April in Sarajevo.

The fair is organized by Logos Center for Culture and Education, and the goal of is the presentation of higher education institutions in B&H, as well as in the region, so that visitors to the fair and high school graduates could make decisions on continuing their education.

‘’In addition to the largest number of higher education institutions (state and private) from all over B&H, participation at the fair has been confirmed by five universities from Tuzla, five from Croatia, among which are universities from Split, Zagreb and Rijeka, and several higher education institutions from Serbia’’, said Kemal Goletić, project manager of the fair.

The head of the office for mediation in employment of the Employment Bureau of Canton Sarajevo Fikret Hadžić said that although there are professionally trained people working, who visit 1.000 schools in Canton Sarajevo annually, he noted that the department would support any action whose goal is to help young people to choose a future profession.

He added that ‘staff planning is a strategic goal of every country’, and this fair is directed towards that plan.
