Inzko Ready javno.baHigh Representative Valentin Inzko is currently staying in Washington and New York, where he will submit the 51st report to the Security Council of the UN, as announced by the OHR.

During his stay in Washington, the High Representative will meet with high officials of the White House, the Council on National Security of the United States and the State Department, as well as members of the Republican Party of President Trump in the US Congress.

After submitting the report to the Security Council of the UN, which is scheduled for Thursday, the High Representative Valentin Inzko will meet with several permanent representatives of the member states of the UN.

As stated, Inzko will use this opportunity to inform about the current political situation in BiH, as well as political trends and perspective for BiH.

“BiH continues to invest great efforts on its way towards Euro-Atlantic integrations. BH authorities received the EU questionnaire and the adjustment of the Stabilization and Association Agreement was completed as well. I would like to urge the authorities at all levels once again to focus on the way that leads BiH to the EU and to accelerate their activities in this direction,” as stated from the OHR.

Despite positive efforts, BiH also faced some challenges in the past six months, which were mentioned in the report of the High Representative as well.

When it comes to upcoming activities in BiH, general elections are scheduled for the autumn of 2018. The authorities of BiH must ensure the fulfillment of all conditions that are necessary for conducting the elections and implementation of the election results as soon as possible, noted the High Representative of BiH, Valentin Inzko.
