Information about the start of Iran’s retaliatory strike was announced by Israeli Brigadier General Effie Defrin.

“The drones launched from Iran will take several hours to reach Israel. The Israeli military is already working to shoot them down,” he said.

The Israeli military has previously announced that it expects an attack from Iran, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told citizens that they will have to stay in shelters.

“Israelis may have to spend a much longer period in shelters than we have been accustomed to,” he said.
