Israel View an Attack by Iran as ‘Increasingly Likely’

Israeli intelligence services have received certain information indicating that Iran may launch an attack on Israel in the coming days, reports Axios.

According to Axios, citing two Israeli sources, the information they now have in Tel Aviv indicates that Iran could launch an attack from Iraqi territory.

“Performing an attack through pro-Iranian militias in Iraq, and not directly from Iranian territory, could be an attempt by Iran to avoid another Israeli attack on strategic targets in Iran,” it was explained.
Also, it is stated that Iran could carry out a new attack with the help of a large number of drones and ballistic missiles.

“The United States still has no information on whether Iran has made a decision to strike back,” one of the sources told Axios.

The commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami, said on Thursday that Israel made a mistake when it attacked Iran last Sunday and stressed that Iran’s response would be different from any scenario Israel might expect.
