ruggero-corriasAmbassador of the Republic of Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ruggero Corrias is completing his diplomatic mission in BiH and he assesses that good cooperation between the two countries has been achieved on political, economic and cultural level.

Corrias emphasized that in the past several years Italy became the second trade partner of BiH.

Corrias finds it especially important that cultural cooperation has been established, reminding that the Teatro alla Scala from Milan held a concert in Sarajevo on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the end of the war. Corrias highlighted that the aim is to build a Museum of contemporary art in Sarajevo, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, because the collection Ars Aevi is one of the gems that BiH can be proud of.

Furthermore, Corrias concluded that he leaves a part of his hart in Sarajevo, but he also carries a part of BiH with himself to Italy.
