Ivo Josipović Will Come to BiH After Croatia Enters the EU

Predsjedni?tvo_BiH-1At yesterday’s session, the BIH Presidency said that President of Croatia Ivo Josipović accepted the invitation of the BiH Presidency to participate at the central celebration of Croatia’s accession to the EU on 30 June 2013.

At the press conference after the session, Chairman of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović said that Josipović responded positively to the invitation to visit BiH.

“The invite is official. Therefore, President Josipović informed us that he would come for a visit at the request of our invitation. He said that his first official visit after Croatia enters the EU would be to BiH”, said Radmanović.

“We have officially agreed on topics of conversation, and the priority is neighborly relations, problems that come with friendly relations, the accession of Croatia to the EU that brings various changes in different ways, and which we will talk about and will officially have some solution. I hope for this’’, said Radmanović.

The Presidency brought a decision that the BiH Presidency would lead a delegation at two multilateral summits in Ohrid.

The BiH Presidency adopted today a yearly report of the BiH Central Bank for 2012 and a report on the works of the Deposit Insurance Agency of BiH for 2012. It also adopted several proposals of international agreements and brought a decision on the ratification of a number of international agreements and treaties.

Radmanović said that they brought a decision on the gradual transformation of the office liaison with the international tribunal in The Hague.

“We adopted another special conclusion that came about after a decision on what happened the other day at the BIH Presidency, which is unacceptable, taking into account the fact that Presidency is a place where the most important figures come to BiH. The conclusion is that it requires the FBiH to immediately make available space in the BiH Presidency building that is used by FBiH institutions in order to provide the conditions necessary for the functioning of the BiH Presidency. This is written in the conclusion, and I add that this would not have happened that in the premises of the Presidency various agencies arrive unauthorized, regardless of whether they have an order from the Prosecution or not’’, said Radmanović.

He answered a question on the nature of the relations between BiH, Serbia and Turkey, as well as questions on whether the Presidency sent an invitation for the President of Serbia to come to Sarajevo?

“The President of Serbia has an invitation to visit BiH, which was sent when we went on an official visit to Belgrade for a bilateral visit”, said Radmanović.

According to him, the relations between the three countries are good and the improvement of relations is possible and necessary with each visit.
