At today’s session, the SDA presidency will talk about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the security situation, the incident in Srebrenica and prospective coalitions.
“We will have a cross-section of how efficient we are as the executive power and what we can do to strengthen that efficiency.” said Bakir Izetbegović, president of SDA.
In a statement to the press before the meeting Izetbegović said that they will talk about potential new coalitions at FBiH level, and that there are new parties that would form a coalition, but did not want to get into details.
He also reminded of the meeting held today in the BiH Presidency with the Council of Ministers in connection with the preparation of the document of coordination mechanism in BiH.
At today’s session they will also discuss the incident in Srebrenica.
Izetbegović said that one assailant was arrested immediately the first day, but considering that the Council of Ministers has precise information about it, today with the Chairman of the Council of Denis Zvizdić, who attends the session, he will talk about the incident.
Commenting on some media reports that the organizers of the attack on Vučić are actually persons close to Izetbegović and his block in SDA, Izetbegović said that it is not and cannot be true.
“God forbid, I said I was ashamed with what happened to Prime Minister Vučić. I saw in him a hope to improve relations in the Balkans, to repair relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Bosniaks and Serbs, and I still have that hope,” Izetbegović said.
“I am very much interested in the normalization of cooperation and Vučić can play an extremely important role in this, so I would never do such a thing, to anyone, especially to him,” said Izetbegović.
He added that he tried to talk to Vučić, sent hi text messages, but that he did not answer,
“There is certain resentment on his part, but we shall see,” commented Izetbegović.
