The decision of the National Assembly of RS on organizing a referendum on the Court and the Prosecutor’s Offices of B&H is the most dangerous act of destruction of the Dayton Peace Agreement since its signature to the present, as said at the press conference by the president of SDAB&H and member of the B&H Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic.
According to his words, this decision and its implications are direct threat to the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of B&H which could lead to the destabilization of the situation in B&H, with unforeseeable consequences.
He said that Dodik is unsuccessfully trying for years to abolish or limit the authorities of the Court of B&H at the territory of RS, because he is afraid that one day, he will have to answer for the crime and corruption committed during his rule, in front of the Court. He added that Milorad Dodik produces crisis and conflicts in order to draw attention from the hard economic and social situation in RS, which was produced by his rule and which obviously has no solution.
SDA is committed to take all constitutional and legal measures in order to protect the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of B&H.
“We invite all pro-Bosnian patriotic political forces and actors to put aside their mutual rivalries, and to unite themselves and oppose the political project of Milorad Dodik jointly. In this case, it is a priority for the International community to react without delay with a decisive use of Dayton authorities and mechanisms. This decision should be put out of force, and its initiator Milorad Dodik, after ten years of a destruction and caused damaged, finally has to bear the consequences and be punished“, said Izetbegovic.
