Izetbegovic talked with European Parliament Rapporteur for BiH in Brussels

izetbegovicChairman of the Presidency of BiH will address the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, and he is planning to meet with Johannes Hahn, Martin Schulz, and Donald Tusk.

Chairman of Presidency of BiH Bakir Izetbegovic met today in Brussels with the Special Rapporteur of the European Parliament of BiH, Cristian Dan Preda.

Izetbegovic introduced Dan Preda with the progress that BiH is making, especially regarding the implementation of the Reform Agenda in our country and the activities related to meeting the conditions required for obtaining a positive opinion from the European Commission on the readiness of BiH to obtain the status of candidate . The Special Rapporteur of the European Parliament for BiH praised the progress that BiH has made, which resulted in the acceptance of applications for membership in the EU.

Izetbegovic will address the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament during the day, and he is planning to meet with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, Johannes Hahn, the President of European Parliament Martin Schulz and the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk.

On Wednesday Izetbegovic will meet with Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
