Today, RS Minister of Family, Youth and Sports Nada Tešanović opened on the Jahorina Mountain a two-day conference on cooperation of RS and Serbia in the field of mobility of youth which is organised by Youth Alliance of RS.
Tešanović noted the significance of this conference whose aim is to connect youth organisations and students’ organisations of RS and Serbia.
She noted that today’s conference represents a step forward in implementing the Action plan for Realization of Memorandum on Cooperation of RS Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports and Ministry of Youth and Sports of Serbia.
Tešanović said that in December she met with the representatives of Ministry of Youth and Sports of Serbia when they agreed to hold this conference, and she added that without cooperation and the exchange of experiences there will be no good results.
Concerning the field of youth mobility, Tešanović noted that in the last year the Ministry, for the first time, had an item for grants for this field, which resulted in many activities, and the example is Youth Camp in Tjentište ,and holding of two conferences where Serbian guests also participated.
She said that the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Serbia and RS have many common themes in which they can exchange experiences, especially concerning the EU and European funds, and how to jointly apply for those funds.
