Jo Lomas and Dr Živković Discussed the Preparation for the Forthcoming General Elections

Jo_LomasJo Lomas, British Embassy Sarajevo Chargé d’Affaires a.i., met today with Dr Milorad Živković, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to talk about the legislative preparation for the forthcoming General Elections in 2014.

Jo Lomas said, “We urge the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to adopt the necessary amendments to the Election Law as soon as possible. This will enable elections to be held as scheduled in October and ensure voters have the opportunity to exercise their democratic rights.”
