bugojno2Today, the Municipal Council of Bugojno adopted a decision on the establishing a coal which would be in the property of municipality.

“I think that Bugojno will have a giant coal complex that will be in the interest of not only the local community but also the region as well. Opening of the mine will change the economic image of the city, and allow us direct employment of about 500 employees. I believe that we will have the support from higher levels of government“ said Chief Hasan Ajkunic for FENA Agency.

It is estimated that the coal reserves in Bugojno basin amounts to about 100 million tones and that the biggest sites are located on the route Kotezi- Milanovici.
