motorway4The newly built section of the motorway “January 9” can still be used for free and that will probably not change by the end of this year, when the toll system will be introduced. However, the toll price is still unknown.

The Ministry of Transportation and Communications of the RS stated that the toll system on the section of the motorway Doboj-Prnjavor is still not in function because they wanted to allow all citizens to use this motorway without any fees for a certain period of time.

“We are giving this opportunity so that everyone can see the benefits that the motorway brings in terms of speed and safety. Then all users of the motorway will decide whether they want to use the motorway with all its advantages and pay a certain fee for it or not,” stated the Ministry.

The Ministry added that all activities regarding the establishment of the toll system are in progress and the amount of toll will be defined over the next 30 days.
