juventafestThe first international festival of secondary school drama ‘Juventafest’ will be held from 17-21 September in Sarajevo.

The aim of the festival is to educate high school students in the field of theatre arts and to gather young people that engage in theatre from B&H, the region and from the world.

‘Juventafest’ will host high school students from six countries-Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Poland and B&H. They will have the opportunity to share their creativity for plays, films, and performances that are the product of young people and to create a positive vision of competition among young people in education and ethnic values through theatre art.

Eight plays will be performed in the competition programs of the festival, and participants will undergo a series of workshops such as dance, puppetry, creative dramaturgy and masks.

On the last day of the festival, the winner of the festival will be announced, as well as journalism awards for the continuous coverage of marginalized groups “Srđan Aleksić” by the Network for Peacebuilding, announced the organizers.
