Diana Kajmakovic, the suspended deputy chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), was the coordinator of the team working on the Sky and Anom cases, witnesses confirmed in the continuation of the disciplinary proceedings against her.
Bojana Jolovic, who has been working at the State Prosecutor’s Office since 2020, stated that she has known prosecutor Kajmakovic since November 2022, when she began to work closely with her, adding that she had a fair cooperation with her as the head of the Department.
Jolovic said that in mid-2021, the story of the formation of a team to work on the Sky and Anom cases began, after which six or seven prosecutors were included in the formed team.
She told that when Kajmakovic became head of the Department for Organized Crime and Corruption, she was also the coordinator of this team.
“It was not formally agreed, but at the meeting it was agreed that the coordination of the team would go through her,” said Jolovicand stated that all cases were distributed via CMS, but the reports were submitted to Kajmakovic, who determined which prosecutor would be appointed, based on the region he wouldcover.
The disciplinary complaint accuses Kajmakovic of using the position of prosecutor for the purpose of obtaining benefits, interfering with the work of prosecutors, behavior that harms the reputation of the position, as well as other behavior that constitutes a serious breach of official duty or calls into question the public’s trust in impartiality and credibility.
State Prosecutor Senad Osmic said that he was a member of the team for the Sky and Anom cases, stating that at the beginning the prosecutors were divided by region, with each prosecutor working independently on the cases.
He said that Kajmakovic performed the tasks of coordinator until the end of May 2022, and confirmed that she gave daily orders, Detektor reports.
