The parties of the ruling coalition in the Republika Srpska (RS) agreed yesterday to run in the early presidential elections, and the joint candidate will be Sinisa Karan from the SNSD.

The leader of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, said that the presidents of political parties will form the Election Headquarters.

“We agreed that a referendum be held and that a session of the National Assembly of RS (NARS) be convened, because it is necessary for that issue to be considered,” said Dodik after the meeting of the leaders of the ruling coalition.

He stated that the referendum will remain with the same question.

“We are determined for the referendum to be held,” said Dodik, and added that “if the Bosniaks continue with constant complaints, the referendum will probably be held on January 9th.”
