Kate Middleton celebrated her 43rd birthday yesterday, and on that occasion, Prince William shared an emotional post on social media.

Prince William wrote a message full of love and respect in his post.

“To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis, and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W,” he wrote on Instagram.

Last year, Kate went through an exceptionally difficult period. She underwent major abdominal surgery, after which doctors discovered cancer. She was advised to undergo preventive chemotherapy.

In September, she informed the public that she had completed her treatment, although she emphasized that her recovery was still ongoing and that the path to full rehabilitation would be long.

Recently, Kate returned to her official duties, and she was last photographed after the traditional Christmas service. At that time, she spoke with an oncology patient, 73-year-old Karen Maclean from North Lincolnshire, who told her about her 20-year battle with cancer. Karen praised the princess, saying that Kate and Prince Charles seem exceptionally strong, considering everything they have been through.

As a reminder, Kate and Prince William met during their student days at St. Andrews. During that period, Kate became the subject of interest for the United Kingdom (UK) media, which followed her every step.
