Visit of reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Husein-ef. Kavazovic on one TV show caused numerous reactions.

Reisul-ulema spoke, among other things, about BiH and “defending state institutions”, but also defending the state “with weapons in case the institutions fall”.

Such an attitude and message of the reisul-ulema was the trigger for a series of condemnations by officials from the Republika Srpska (RS) entity and Croatian National Assembly (HNS), who accused the reisul-ulema of calling for preparation for a possible armed conflict.

On Monday night on the Facebook account of Reis Kavazovic, the message he spoke at the December session of the Parliament of Islamic Community of BiH was published.

”The Islamic Community will have to resist the attempts that want to silence it. It must offer fierce resistance to attempts to reduce the Bosniak people to a religious group, to compress them into enclaves and ghettos, the fate of which would not be difficult to predict.
