Mostar klapa ‘Hrvoje’, after many years, is returning to music festival ‘Melodije Mostara’, said the Croat music-singing association ‘Hrvoje’ Mostar and reported FENA.

Author of the text of their ‘Sto godina skupa’ is Željko Kozina and the music is written by Ranko Boban. They also composed the song ‘Hercegovina u srcu’ which was covered by ‘Hrvoje’. With its arrangement music producer Mahir Sarihodžić joined them and thanks to him mandolins and guitars were played by music professional from Zagreb Ante Gelo, bass guitar by Borjan Milošević, and Sarihodžić played the piano and accordion.

Klapa ‘Hrvoje’ is one of the oldest klapas in Herzegovina, founded in 1990 as a part of renewed Croat Music-Singing Association ‘Hrvoje’ (founded in 1888). Klapa had more than 900 performances all over BiH, Croatia, USA, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
