Hasan Salihamidzic became sports director of the largest German club and one of the largest sports clubs in the world, Bayern from Munich.

From the beginning of his sports career in his native Jablanica, Hasan Salihamidzic was making his road to stars with the support of his father and his closest family.

When the war in BiH started, Hasan was just 15 years old, and he was earning for life as a waiter in Jablanica. He managed to pass 11 military checkpoints to get from Jablanica to Zadar, where he took a bus to Hamburg and later joined one of the best youth football schools in Germany.

There are several thousand boys every year in Hamburg, and coaches in the youth school receive only top three. In November 1992, one of the three most talented boys was Hasan Salihamidzic. The coach Felix Magath recognized him as a future star, and he became a member of the first team in just three years.

After three seasons in HSV, in 1998, he became a member of the largest German club Bayern, with which he won six titles of German champion, one title of European championship and one title of the world championship. He played 234 matches in the jersey of the famous Bavarian club, and then he went to the biggest Italian club Juventus. From Juventus, he returned again to Germany where he finished his career in the Wolfsburg in 2012.

The National Team of BiH is a special story in the life of Braco, as they called him in Germany. Although he had the offer to play for the German team, Hasan never had a doubt where he belonged. He played for the National team of BiH. After his 30th birthday, he retired from the National team of BiH.

A couple of days ago, Hasan Salihamidzic became sports director of Bayern Munich and thus achieved another huge success.
