Foundry Wagner Automotiv from Gradacac is the only distributor of the aluminum body for the automotive brand Land Rover. This contract opened the door for business cooperation with other major automotive brands including BMW, Ford, Mercedes, and Audi, and the annual turnover of this company, which employs around 200 people, amounts to more than 12 million EUR.

Although the machines are characterized with high precision, the products must go through manual machining as well. The workers of this company said that the buyer demands a perfect product, which is why they even measure the roughness of the product after which they send the product on varnishing and another mechanical check.

Mechanically controlled and carefully packed product from this line is sent to the customer. Project sales manager Esmir Mehanovic said that the product is intended for the electronics or amplifier in Land Rover.

“We are growing year after year, we already employ around 200 workers and we have promising prospects. Next year, we are planning to increase the number of employees,” said Mehanovic.

For workers, especially engineers in this company, the cooperation with such large companies represents a big challenge because they are involved in modifying and creating parts they produce.

The annual turnover of this foundry is 12 million EUR, and they deliver 20 000 of aluminum parts for electronics per month to Land Rover.
