Kojovic: Dodik blocked the Growth Plan, Citizens lost 108 Million Euros

Our Party’s representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Predrag Kojović, commenting on the failure to adopt the Reform Agenda at today’s emergency session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated that ministers from the entity of Republika Srpska prevented the document from being adopted under the control of Milorad Dodik.

– I am absolutely convinced that the Growth Plan would not have been put on the agenda of the session if internal consultations had not indicated that it would be adopted. Milorad Dodik, who has complete control over his ministers, decided today to take one billion marks from the citizens of Republika Srpska, and the same amount from the citizens of the Federation – said Kojović.

He recalled that the Reform Agenda, which is an integral part of the Growth Plan, has been agreed and includes more than 180 pages of complex measures and reforms.

– The hardest part of the job is over. Now we are in a situation where someone is deciding the fate of the entire country because they are dissatisfied with the content of the news they read. The Council of Ministers can be convened as early as tomorrow and the document can be on the agenda again – said Kojović.

Commenting on allegations that the Growth Plan favors projects from the Republika Srpska, Kojović explained that only those projects that were ready for implementation and that only lacked financing were included in the plan.

– When the Growth Plan appeared, there was a lot of criticism that it included more projects from the RS than from the Federation. This was a consequence of the current situation – RS had more ready projects at the time. If the Federation had such projects, they would also have been included – concluded Kojović.

Commenting on Slovenia’s decision to impose sanctions on former RS President Milorad Dodik, Kojović believes that it is expected that other EU countries will follow Slovenia’s example.

– It is obvious that Dodik is creating additional enemies with these actions towards BiH’s European perspective, which is certainly not in his favor at this moment – he said.
