Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zeljko Komsic sent a letter of condolence over the death of the General of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jovan Divjak.

“I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of General of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jovan Divjak. In my own memory, but also in our collective memory, General Divjak will remain one of the greatest Bosnians and Herzegovinians and people who showed in the most difficult times what it means to be human, and what the struggle for human dignity means,” Komsic said in the telegram of condolences.

“Homeland, freedom, justice, truth, honesty and humanity, as values that General Divjak advocated, have lost one of their greatest advocates. Those who remain behind us are obliged to pay homage to his work and to study it. General, thank you for everything you have done for our only homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina,” it is said in the telegram of condolences.
