”I am aware of the weight of the words I speak, but I am afraid that the motive of foreigners for all that they are doing in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and the pressure to pass completely anti-European laws, which are in complete contradiction with the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, is deeply anti-Islamic, ” stated the member of the Presidency BiH and the president of the Democratic Front, Zeljko Komsic, after yesterday’s session of the Main Board of this party.
Komsic pointed out that it seems that many in Europe see today’s European Muslims as new Jews, while Bosniaks represent a special problem for them because they have their own state on European soil.
“How else can you interpret all that they are doing. You have open fascism like Orban’s who talks about Christian Europe, shy fascism that is trying to impose itself on us through the institution of the Office of the High Representative (OHR), to the vulgar fascism of Zoran Milanovic, because when you insult someone on religious, ethnic or on a racial basis, what is that? Calling for the final solution, but no longer for the Jews, but for the Muslims in Europe. I didn’t say nothing new, nothing that we do not whisper about in private conversations. I am afraid that is the answer to all this they are doing and why Milanovic, as the president of the country, can come out with such a vocabulary,” said Komsic.
At the committee, it was concluded that the Democratic Front strongly opposes the announced possibility of imposing a discriminatory proposal for amendments to the BiH Election Law, which relates to limiting the representation of people’s representatives in the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH(FBiH), which are linked to the percentage representation in the cantons according to the 2013 census.
As Komsic said, this party opposes the “introduction of democracy for the reservation”.
“The number of a nation in a certain area cannot decide on its representation in the government. That is decided by the voters. This criterion is also applied in the country where High Representative Schmidt comes from,” he noted.
He also referred to the statements of Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who, according to Komsic, insulted Bundestag representative Adis Ahmetovic on purely ethnic grounds.
“Zoran Milanovic, the president of a country that is a member of the European Union (EU) and NATO, which should live according to those standards and is organized according to those standards and even in terms of human rights, gives himself the right to insult Ahmetovic on a purely religious basis, even though Ahmetovic is the initiator of the resolution and is German in every aspect. Also, Milanovic calls the process of reaching resolution hogwash. Ahmetovic is linked to BiH only by his origin, and this man only wants his country of origin to be regulated like every European country, including Germany and Croatia. This is typical fascism which is aimed at an entire religious community,” Komsic concluded.
